Each adult beach gear kit includes a beach chair, umbrella, fresh towel, and a light, chilled lunch--all packed and ready to go in an insulated cooler. Kids receive a towel and a smaller lunch. Vegetarian lunch options are available upon request. You'll also be able to select an activity for your beach day.
Each guest may choose one beach activity from the following options:

After stepping off your ship in Kahului, a short walk brings you to the taxi area, where a prearranged union taxi will take you to the the local representative to collect your beach gear. While taxi fare is not included in the excursion price, prearranged union taxis are provided at a discounted rate of $75 US each way, payable per vehicle on the day of the tour. Most taxis accommodate up to six passengers; larger groups may require additional vehicles.
After collecting your beach gear, then it's off to Polo Beach, one of South Maui's hidden gems known for its soft white sand and crystal clear water! After a 30 to 45-minute ride, unload and settle into your shaded beach chair to enjoy 3 blissful hours of relaxation. Whether you selected snorkel gear, a boogie board, or a sandcastle kit, you'll have everything you need to enjoy island life. With all logistics handled, you can simply relax without the hassle of bringing supplies from the ship. Polo Beach is one of South Maui's most beautiful beaches, equipped with restrooms, a shower area, and even a picnic table area.
Your return trip is just as smooth. Your driver will meet you at the prearranged pickup time, or you can contact them directly if you wish to return earlier. After your 30 to 45-minute return taxi ride, you'll return to the cruise terminal gate area where you'll return your gear before being taken back to your ship--no fuss, no stress.

While Polo Beach Park has paved sidewalks providing access to picnic tables and restrooms, there are no ramps to the sand or beach-accessible features. As such, it may not be suitable for guests using wheelchairs or with significant mobility restrictions.
Activity selections will be confirmed at the time of pickup. All equipment must be returned in the same condition it was provided.
Most taxis are vans that can accommodate up to six passengers. Larger groups may require multiple taxis and will be charged accordingly.
All ages are welcome. Children’s meals are slightly smaller than adult portions. Please keep this in mind when selecting the number of adult and child packages. For example, you may choose to select an adult package for a child under 8 who may require a chair and larger lunch.
